The Official Airline Ratings™ recognizes airlines in four categories:

• Global Airlines
• Major
• Regional
• Low-Cost Carriers

APEX partnered with TripIt® from Concur® , an industry-neutral technology partner which served in collecting verified itineraries that were validated from over 50 million airline generated itineraries. Using a five-star scale, more than one million flights were rated by passengers from around the world throughout the year. First, passengers rated their overall flight experience, and then were given the opportunity to provide ratings in five subcategories: seat comfort, cabin service, food & beverage, inflight entertainment, and Wi-Fi. The overall ratings are certified by an independent external auditing service hired by APEX and used to establish the airline’s Official Airline Ratings™.
